Which artwork was your most successful? Explain (1 picture) I think that my most successful work was the Interior/exterior project. I made a huge face with a open mouth. In the mouth was a door that opened into a meadow. You could really see that there was an inside and an outside, which was the assignment. Because the theme of the project was so visible, that is why I think that this was the most successful artwork. |
Discuss one project where you felt you overcame most obstacles. (1 picture) I didn't really had one artwork with the biggest obstacles. The hardest part was always to come up with an idea of what I wanted to make and how I wanted to make it. Once I know what and how I want it, is not really and obstacle anymore. It becomes a piece of work that I have to finish. I'd say the artwork with the most obstacles would be the power collage. I never made a collage, I didn't know where to start so that was an obstacle. I also didn't know how i would lay the pictures down. It worked out good. |
What 2 pieces show your growth as an artist? Explain how they show growth. (2 pictures) In the pressure project and the Collage I grew as an artist. I learned how to visualize a theme using mediums I never used before. I started to think more about what I was going to make and how I was going to do that. |
This semester I introduced a new way of teaching/learning. Students had more choices in subject matter and material choice. Explain how effective this was to you.
I thought that this was a good way to teach. I had more freedom to experiment and do what I want. I learned more to think what i wanted to make and what I was going to use to make that. I learned a lot of different mediums and visualizing a theme or idea.
